Temporary Administrative Assistant (Legal) - Ultimate Staffing Services
Location: Long Island, NY
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$30/hour (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
Ultimate Staffing Services is partnering with a top-tier Long Island law firm to identify a skilled Temporary Administrative Assistant to support their legal team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with real estate transactions and/or estates & trusts documentation
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Handle filing systems (electronic and physical) with accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phones, manage emails, and communicate with clients professionally
- Perform data entry and maintain case records and databases
- Support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience in a law firm or legal environment required
- Experience with real estate law and/or estates & trusts strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional demeanor and client-focused attitude
